INTRODUCTION
In this 100th episode , Milo and Olivia Curtis are joined by Bethany and Andrew, to reflect on Luke 2’s story of the shepherds. Together they explore how God’s presence transforms the ordinary, revealing grace, faith, and wonder in everyday life and family connection.

Jesus meets us in the ordinary moments of life, revealing Himself as Savior to those willing to watch, respond, and receive.

1. An invitation to Sharpened Focus
   ...you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger. - Lk 2:13
   
   God’s invitation to these shepherds was not to improve their status but to sharpen their attention. It was an invitation to look with open eyes for divine presence in unexpected places.
   
   

2. An invitation to Respond in Faith
   …they went with haste and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby lying in a manger. - Lk 2:16
   
   The shepherds were led to a scene that defied every expectation of grandeur. The announcement came with angelic fanfare, but the reality was a humble feeding trough, not a throne. Much like them, we often encounter God’s promises in settings far less spectacular than we imagined. The call is not to be entertained but to be transformed; to embrace obedient holiness over entertaining spectacle.
   
   

3. An invitation to receive Salvation
   ...or unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. - Lk 2:11
   
   The scope of God’s salvation is more than the forgiveness of sins and the promise of heaven. It is a daily experience to trust God’s leadership, grow in intimacy with Him, and be sanctified for His holy purposes. The angel said, “born to YOU this day is a Savior.”
